I went into the movies today
but I watched half the movie,
half her
took for granted – like Lenore – as nevermore
there she was
and she smells so nice
still
all over my pillow
I’ll be smiling for hours
and the only thing at the back of my head, right now
are three little white clouds
softly carried by the wind
